CHARACTERISTICS AND UTILIZATIONS
The Marmorino Pasta Media is a mixture of particular and seloctioned dusts and marble grits with other mineral ingredients with prevalence lime and other different additives which facilitate and garantee an excellent anchorage to the support.
It is the caracteristic "Marmorino" already used some centuries ago in the villas and in the most important palaces, today proposed again by the IMPEX COLOR in the present version in past forme.
The Marmorino Pasta Media can be used both inside and outside: for its particular mineral composition, the Marmorino Pasta Media has a good resistance both to the humidity and to the moulds.
It has an excellent perspiration, even if it has a sufficient waterproofness.
APPLICATION
After treating carefully the bottoms, see technical data sheet "preparation of the bottoms", apply a first coat of matenal with a steel float, and paying attention to spread uniformly and plane the product, without blurs, lines, surmounts etc.
After about 12 hours (according to the absorption and the environmental temperature), apply a second coat of Marmorino Pasta Media with the same previous procceding, and before it begins to get dry, polish with the steelfloat making progressively more and more pressure.
This phase is important because it is in this moment that you succed in compacting and polishing the Marmorino Pasta Media.
Further advice: during the summer season or with very absorbing plasters you should wet the walls before the application of the first and also the second coat to avoid the lines of the float, during the application of the first coat, and to put in evidence the grains of marble, pass with the sponge float before it dries.
Protect, in case of outside works, the wall for three days at least (particularly during the periods of high humidity).
The Marmorino Pasta Media has natural colours, it is the type of marble which gives a tone. Inside the Marmorino Pasta Media can be treated with transparent wares to get brightness and protection. Outside to reduce the wet effect you can apply, after at least 10 days, a protective based on siloxanic type Silatop Coat.
