This product gives a compacted, smooth finish ("marble effect") for interior and exterior decoration of buildings, while having excellent breathing properties.

USE
Marmorino Arkadia is applied exclusively on lime and lime cement based plasters and on specific undercoats such as MARMORINO PASTA MEDIA / MARMORINO VENEZIA , and is a decorative finish particularly suitable for artistic or historic buildings.
PREPARATION OF THE BASE
On both new and old buildings which have plaster in bad condition , the plaster must be removed and new plaster applied.
Previous layers of paint or covering must be removed by rubbing.
If the surface of the plaster is powdery apply first an intermediate coat of MARMORINO PASTA MEDIA / MARMORINO VENEZIA light plaster and preferably an undercoat of an insulator CRIL FIX diluted 1: 4 / 1 : 8 with water.
Apply a coat of wall-base as primer diluted 50-60% on the surfaces of cardboard-plaster type, on pre-treated with paints walls, wood etc.
Avoid completely applying to fine mortar, as thick products, typically hard, can cause the mortar to break off from the base.
WORKING
Spread Marmorino Arkadia over MARMORIO PASTA MEDIA / MARMORINO VENEZIA or finely finished plaster with a stainless steel trowel in two or three layers.
Wait at least 4 hours between the application of each layer.
The last layer should be polished about 5 minutes after application to obtain a glazed effect and give a compacted, smooth surface.
To achieve better water repellence, Marmorino Arkadia can be protected with SILATOP COAT after a minimum period of 10 days.
WARNING
Marmorino Arkadia should be protect from cold.
Avoid applying at temperatures less than + 8°C and greater than + 35°C and with a relative humidity greater than 75%.
During the summer months we advise dampening the surface before applying Marmorino Arkadia and avoid surfaces exposed to the sun.
Do not compress the first layer during application as the formation of glazed areas might reduce the adhesion of next layer.
Protect from rainfall for at least the first 48 hours of drying out.

Stored in a suitable place in its original packing, the product will last 1 year.
